Boutique hotel Villa Provence is located in the heart of Aarhus and offers modern facilities combined with a French atmosphere. Already in the lounge you can really feel how the entire hotel is decorated in southern French style.
Our 39 rooms all have one thing in common: they are Individually decorated in Provençal style with intricate chandeliers, colorful walls, extravagant decor and hand-picked interiors brought back from the South of France. Rooms range from unique and spacious suites with private baths to superior rooms, double rooms and single rooms.

Our cozy lounge is always available for relaxing and enjoying French café music. In the lounge, we have a “make-your-own-drink” bar where guests can pour a glass of house wine, open a beer or soft drink and mix your favorite drink as if you were at home in your own living room. All we ask is that you write your room number on the note.
When you arrive at Villa Provence and walk through the gate from Fredens Torv, you arrive at what many describe as a small oasis in the middle of Aarhus. Our courtyard, which is surrounded by buildings with rooms, was created by floral artist Tage Andersen. Guests are welcome to enjoy this idyllic oasis with the sound of trickling water from the fountain.
Out of consideration for other guests who, especially in the morning, want to sleep with the windows open, we close the patio at 23:00. The exception to this rule is, of course, if you are a couple and want to enjoy a summer evening in absolute silence, or if you need a good night’s sleep before bedtime. Smoking is only allowed in the patio.
When you stay at Villa Provence, we offer the option to purchase a parking space in our courtyard for just 250 per day as an additional service. Public parking is available on the premises until 4:00 p.m.; after that, parking is reserved exclusively for our guests.
You register your car at the reception upon arrival.
We have two charging stations for electric cars, where charging costs 150,- per charge. They are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
The café at Villa Provence is located below the reception, down the stairs from the courtyard entrance. At first glance, it would be logical to say that the café is located in the basement of Fredens Torv 12. But from a purely technical building point of view, the café is actually designated as the ground floor, even though the windows are almost all the way down to the sidewalk.
The café is primarily used to serve Villa Provence’s now famous signature breakfast based on organic ingredients. The café can also be rented for meetings, photoshoots or small parties upon request at the reception.

At the reception you will find a selection of exclusive products – perfect for your stay or as a gift for a loved one. The gift shop includes Molton Brown bath products, Villa Provence’s popular bathrobe, various books and, of course, a toothbrush for those who have forgotten their own at home.
